EC-Lab Technical Notes 11: Other channel to cell connection mode Part II: CE to Ground mode

Introduction

As well as the standard connection, which sees a channel cable connected to the electrochemical cell (figure 1) with five leads, it can be necessary to build another connection mode. For example, in the case of a single working electrode with several references and counter electrodes, a specific connecting mode could be useful to control the working electrode potential. The aim of this Technical Note is to describe another connection mode that can be used in the “CE to Ground” mode when the user wants to control the potential of several working electrodes connected together.
